    West Nile Virus (WNV) - This aptamer was developed against a recombinant WNV envelope protein from WNV is an enveloped icosahedral RNA mosquito-borne viruses of the Flaviviridae family which causes a variety of symptoms in humans with relatively low mortality. It was introduced to the U.S. in 1999 and thousands of cases have been reported to the CDC.
